Overview
A tandem skydive allows you to jump while securely attached to a qualified instructor. Your instructor takes care of deploying the parachute, navigating to the landing zone, and ensuring a safe, smooth landing. At Skydive Dubai, a camera flyer joins you in the air to capture every thrilling moment, so all you need to do is enjoy the experience and smile for the camera!
Important Information
- Booking & Availability: Tandem skydiving is subject to availability and can typically be booked 1–3 months in advance. Refunds are processed if the booking is not confirmed.
- Duration & Check-In: Plan to spend 3–4 hours at the dropzone from check-in to landing. Arrival time on your reservation is for check-in, not the jump itself.
- Safety Measures: All tandem jumps use state-of-the-art equipment with automatic activation devices (AAD). Instructors are rigorously trained and certified, and aircraft are maintained to the highest standards.
- Health & Fitness Requirements: Minimum fitness is required. Guests must meet weight and BMI limits: Women: ≤90 kg / 198 lbs, BMI ≤27.5 Men: ≤100 kg / 220 lbs, BMI ≤30
- Age & Identification: Must be 18 years or older with a valid government photo ID (passport, Emirates ID, or driver’s license).
- Dress Code: Wear athletic, comfortable clothing with sleeves. Shoes must be sneakers or sports shoes without buckles or studs. Goggles are provided; prescription glasses can be worn if needed.
- Alcohol & Drugs Policy: Zero tolerance — no alcohol or drugs 24 hours before the skydive.
- Weather & Delays: Skydiving is weather-dependent. Operations may be delayed, put on standby, or canceled in poor conditions. Refunds are given for weather cancellations; rescheduling is possible.
- Facilities: Dropzones offer free Wi-Fi, an on-site café, lockers, and outdoor viewing decks for friends and family. Children under 15 must be supervised at all times.
